May 10, 2010 Dear Fellow Aussie Adopters, Owner, and Pet Lovers
We would like to inform you that Second Time Around Aussie Rescue, Inc, (STAAR) will be closing on June 1, 2010. STAAR will not be accepting any dogs into the program after May 31, 2010. The next 6 months will be used to place the existing dogs in our program, filing closure papers with the appropriate agencies.
The past 14 years has been a wonderful experience, placing numerous dogs in wonderful life long homes. We are proud of the work we have done and wish to thank each and every volunteer that is, has, or assisted in any way with the work we have done.
If you need to place a dog after May 31, 2010 please contact the many other Aussie rescue groups located across the United States.
It is with great sadness that we close our doors to rescue, but we are sure that our volunteers and the many others across the country will continue to assist these wonderful dogs in many different forms.
